EARLY CHILDHOOD PARENTING: THE ROLE OF PARENTAL MINDFULNESS AND COPARENTING COMPETENCE IN PARENTAL WELL-BEING

Parents' well-being are significant things. Well-being is not only counted for parents’ physical, emotional, and mental conditions as an individual, it also has enormous influences on various aspects of children's development. Parents tend to face challenges, difficulties, pressures during parenting, especially when caring children in early childhood. This study aims determine the role parental mindfulness coparenting competence predicting well-being. Three hundred thirty-one parents childhood participated this study. The researchers used convenience sampling method. completed Parental Well-Being Scale, Bangor Mindful Parenting Coparenting Competence Scale. result multiple linear regression analysis indicated that have roles coefficient determination showed simultaneously explained 15.7% variance. There no differences between fathers mothers. finding indicates importance parenting order improve
